"From the Hobbit Hole" is a designation I have given to a very particular type of movie review. I generally take requests on what films to watch and comment on, but I have a short, hairy friend (that I never seem to hang out with, despite frequent good times) that has a love for movies that are so bad that they will never reach DVD. Where does he find them? Thrift stores, garage sales, and the fourth circle of Hell, most likely. These are very bad movies, with little or no hope of them being amusing enough to become Lefty Gold. But I will watch them, if only because a friend has given them to me personally, or has mailed them to me. Is this a good idea? Probably not, but we're doing it anyway.
